C4K Summary

In the month of September, I had a total of three kids who Blog Post I had a chance to read and comment on. Each student did an outstanding job on their Blog Post and was very creative in their writing. I can tell the students enjoy writing on their blogs and reading the comments they get from other students and people around the world. I must admit, I really enjoyed reading each of the blog post.

C4K #1

My first student was a 5th grade student and his blog name was Buckshot 9856. For his assignment, he had to write an essay about something he believes in. His title was "Why I believe in ghosts."

In Buckshot 9856 essay, he shared a story about this experience him and his family encountered with a ghost. It was one late night around Halloween when Buckshot 9856 and his family went to visit a cemetery not too far from their home because of an old story they heard about the cemetery being haunted. Alone with Buckshot 9856 was his mother and his aunt. They ran through the cemetery screaming and keeping up a lot of noise to see if they could find any ghosts. While they were running through the cemetery screaming, strong winds came through and almost knocked them to the ground. Right after the strong winds forced them to the ground; they turned around and took off running back towards the car running for their life. Once they made it back to the car, they all were out of breathe and extremely scared. They jumped in the car and mashed out of the parking lot. Buckshot 9856 said he never been more scared for his life but he also had fun at the same time. I really enjoyed reading his essay. His story was funny and very creative and I thought he did an awesome job on telling his story.

A ghost in the sky.

C4K#2

My second student was a 5th grade student who goes by the name Delfi.

In Delfi most recent blog post, he had to write a poem about a hero. Delfi poem was about a brave soldier at war. In his poem he told a story about a brave soldier who attempted to cross this long log by himself just to get to the other side because there were treasures full of gold on the other side. Everyone who ever tried crossing the log before was never seen or heard from again. Any man who dared to cross this log must have been very brave at heart. The poem turns out with a happy ending. The brave soldier made it to the other side and found the gold. He brought the gold back and shared it with his community and they all lived happily ever after.

Super Heroes

C4K #3

In my third C4K, my student name was Htawara. Htawara is 11 years of age and is a student at PT England School. Htawara is in Mrs. King class and is in the 7th grade. On her most recent blog post Htawara and some of her friends made a movie about Michael Jackson. In the movie they analyzed Michael Jackson death. They showed how Michael Jackson was killed and they gave demonstration of how the death went. The video was very interesting and I thought they did a great job.
